VISION DIVINE Parts Ways With Drummer, Announces Temporary Replacement

October 5, 2006

Italian melodic power metallers VISION DIVINE, the brainchild of ex-LABYRINTH mastermind Olaf Thörsen, have parted ways with drummer Riccardo Quagliato. "Some personal and technical problems made it impossible to continue the cooperation," the group writes in a statement. "At the moment, Alessandro Bissa will replace Riccardo for the next shows. The new album is on its way, and what happened about the South American tour didn't help at all to make people 'relax.' To our 'old' fans, maybe this is not a surprise, to some of our new ones, this result as a shock, but to all of you we can only tell there's nothing to worry about. This won't change anything in our plans as we're already working hard to the new album and fixing shows for the future."

VISION DIVINE's last album, "The Perfect Machine", was released in 2005 through Scarlet Records.
